About

Early History 1975-1991

Saudi Establishment for Safety Equipment was established in 1975 to serve Saudi Arabia's growing need for fire safety products and services. The business was focused on the supply of a range of fire fighting and rescue vehicles for new and developing domestic and international airports. Since then, SESE has provided for many clients and expanded to supply and maintain many different special purpose vehicles.

The Royal Saudi Air Force adopted the design of an identical range of airport fire fighting and rescue vehicles. Other wings of the Ministry of Defense and Aviation, namely the Air Defense Forces and Navy, soon followed.

With a firm customer base, SESE was able to actively seek out and win new business in the industrial, domestic and municipal markets. An early achievement was to introduce a much broader range of vehicles and equipment to meet all diverse and specific client needs, such as aircraft overshoot arresting systems and high-voltage insulated aerial access platforms, to name a few.

Recent History 1992-2010

With the responsibility of over 1000 vehicles in Saudi Arabia, SESE, together with its principals, opened a service center in Jeddah in 1992. The facility, known as the “SESE Customer Support Center”, is managed and staffed by factory-trained engineers and technicians. In order to further the support of vehicles, SESE opened a second, larger workshop in Dammam in 1999 offering the same facilities and services as in Jeddah. This initiative has greatly enhanced SESE's dedicated customer support across the Kingdom, covering the Central, Eastern and Western provinces.

Today, the SESE establishment has grown to encompass many employees spread among its workshops, service centers and corporate offices. Additionally, SESE has created a prominent affiliate network that supports successfully tailored supply, support and maintenance programs of varying scales.
